Mount Clemens Magical Weekend
Today through May 5 - Downtown Mount Clemens
Magical wands will be waving and rabbits will be pulled out of hats, as Downtown Mount Clemens hosts the Fourth Annual Mount Clemens Magical Weekend on May 3 through 5, 2013.
On Friday, May 3 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, convention attendees will be donating their services at John Barleycorn’s and Detroit Pub. Diners will see magicians performing “table” magic tricks free of charge, and any tips made by the magicians will be donated to charity.
Thanks to the recent opening of the beautiful newly renovated Macomb Music Theatre (formerly the Emerald Theatre), this year, the Mount Clemens Magical Weekend will feature An Evening of Wonder magic and illusion show on Friday, May 3 at 7:00 PM., and another on Sunday, May 5 at 3 PM. Tickets for An Evening of Wonder on Friday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. are only $10 for adults and $6 for children. Tickets for the Sunday, May 5 show at 3:00 p.m. are all $6. Seating is general admission, first come, first serve. All shows are family friendly, however, the Sunday matinee show is geared toward smaller children. Group ticket sales are available. Tickets can be purchased at ABC Magic Shop and at the door.
The Fountain Stage on Macomb Place will feature free family entertainment on Saturday, May 4 from 1:00 PM. until 3:00 PM Performers include a comic juggler, ventriloquist, and other fun surprises.
Free Character Meet & Greet events will be held on Sunday, May 5 from 12:00 PM. until 2:00 PM. Dora the Explorer will be at Detroit Pub, Cinderella will be at John Barleycorn’s, Elmo will be at Buffalo Wild Wings, and Beauty and the Beast will be at Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers.

May is flower and bedding plant month at the Mount Clemens Farmers Market, and now is the perfect opportunity to shop for all of your Spring garden needs. TheMount Clemens Farmers Market has all of the flower and vegetable plants you'll need for your gardens this year. They offer a wide variety of perennials, and an abundant amount of annuals. There are flats and accent plants galore, as well as potted arrangements and hanging baskets.
Flower Daze kick off today and run every Friday and Saturday through June 1. The Mount Clemens Farmers Market is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

The Mount Clemens Downtown Development Authority is proud to announce our second annual Made in Michigan Show in beautiful Downtown Mount Clemens. The Downtown Mount Clemens Made In Michigan Show is an open air show dedicated to all things Made in Michigan.
A tremendous amount of products are grown, manufactured, or distributed by Michigan based businesses, and we will showcase many at this new family friendly event. Our goal is to inform, educate and encourage Michiganders, organizations and consumers alike, to support our local economy by purchasing products made in Michigan and from Michigan-based companies and vendors. Together we will revitalize the economy, one product, one purchase, one person at a time.
The show is located on Macomb Place in the heart of Downtown Mount Clemens. Show hours are: Friday 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
