"PROCESS" Exhibit

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Anton Art Center
"PROCESS" will be on display at The Anton Art Center from May 2 - June 7, and will include work in progress, transitional and unfinished pieces in various disciplines. Multiple visits to the show are encouraged, allowing viewers an opportunity to see the steps behind creating finished works and watch them evolve.
An opening reception hosted by Wine Cellar Artists will be held from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at The Anton Art Center. A closing reception will be held Friday, June 6 from 9:00 PM - Midnight, enabling visitors to see the transformation of the work and gallery spaces before the exhibition closes. Live music will be featured in the basement from 10:00 PM - Midnight for a $2 cover charge.
The Anton Art Center is located at 125 Macomb Place in Downtown Mount Clemens.

The Mount Clemens Farmers Market opens for the season today! The Farmers Market is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM through November. Located on North River Road between I-94 and Northbound Gratiot, The Mount Clemens Farmers Market offers a fine, fresh array of locally grown fruits and vegetables as well as bedding plants, perennials, shrubs and herbs. Children's Etiquette Class & Cookie Tea

1:00 PM - Crocker House Museum
Children come learn the essentials in proper etiquette with Etiquette Instructor Marguerite Humes at the Crocker House Museum. This interactive presentation will teach you everyday etiquette, introductions, handshakes, and table manners. All guests will receive an etiquette booklet and table seating map. Class will begin with a Cookie Tea.
Cost is $12 per person and registration is require as space is limited. Ages 6 to 13 recommended.

Victoria Day Tea

Spend the day with Queen Victoria honoring her birthday and her reign as Empress of India. To honor her connection with India, Indian flavor will influence our tea menu. Musician Manjula Verma will play the Sitar and the Michigan Laasya School of Dance will perform for you and the Queen. Turning Point Benefit Exhibit

"Adversity, Change, Rebirth," a benefit exhibition for Turning Point at the Anton Art Center. Located in Mount Clemens, Turning Point provides programs that enable victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to regain control of their lives.
"Adversity, Change, Rebirth" is an exhibition of invitational artists and the women and children of Turning Point. The exhibit runs from May 18 through June 6. The opening reception is from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at the Anton Art Center and will feature "little dishes" by Chef Brad Driscoll.
