Farmers Market Opens for Season

The Mount Clemens Farmers Market opens for the season today!  The Farmers Market is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM now through November.  Located on North River Road between I-94 and Northbound Gratiot, The Mount Clemens Farmers Market offers a fine, fresh array of locally grown fruits and vegetables as well as bedding plants, perennials, shrubs and herbs.  Visit the Market to find nutritious in season produce along with fresh baked goods, honey, eggs, mushrooms, New York Style Hog Dogs and other fun specialty items.

Mount Clemens Spring Art & Craft Show

Today 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM & Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Macomb Place, Downtown Mount Clemens

The Mount Clemens Downtown Development Authority proudly presents the 2010 Art & Craft Show Series.   Shop for unique, hand crafted, original works including paintings, clay, wood, glass, textiles, jewelry and much more from the best local artists and fine crafters. 

All shows are held on Macomb Place on Friday from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.  Additional series show dates include:  7/16 - 7/17, and 8/20 - 8/21.

Summer Fun Saturdays

10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Downtown Mount Clemens

Childrens Show at 11:00 AM.  Children's Show will last approximately 30 minutes. 

Carnival games begin at 10:00 AM at participating businesses.  Listing of businesses will activities will be available at Fountain Stage (on Macomb Place 1/2 way between Walnut and Pine Streets).  Small prizes will be awarded to winning children at each participating business (ages two to ten years old).

Sealed for Freshness

Today through June 6 - The Box Theatre, Downtown Mount Clemens

This raucous comedy mixes a group of five very different neighbors at a Tupperware party in 1968 Suburbia.  The mix of personalities and the number of martinis consumed lead to a great deal of absurd hijinx.  A million laughs for everyone at this Michigan premier comedy.

Sealed for Freshness runs May 14-16, May 20-23, May 28-29, and June 4-6 at The Box Theatre located at 70 Macomb Place in Downtown Mount Clemens.  All Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shows are at 8:00 PM, Sunday matinee shows start at 2:00 PM.  Special discounted dinner packages are available at participating Downtown Mount Clemens restaurants, call the box office for more details.  Tickets are $16 for adults and $14 for Seniors and Students.

Downtown Open House and Property Tour

3-7 PM - Downtown Mount Clemens is hosting an Open House and Property Tour to showcase what a great location Mount Clemens is to locate a business. Tour sites include turn-key restaurants, various retail opportunities, and a variety of office space. Welcome Center is at 61 Macomb Pl where attendees will be orientated, provided information about the Downtown, and assigned a tour guide to show guests to the available properties that interest them.
