The Mount Clemens Bizarre Bazaar Flea Market is held every Saturday from 8AM until 2PM in the North Roskopp Parking Lot, located along Southbound Gratiot adjacent to the Anton Art Center.  The market runs every weekend until October 2, except for Stars & Stripes Weekend on July 3.  Bizarre Bazaar sales spaces are $15 for the first space, and $10 for each additional space.  Pay for three weeks and get the fourth week free. 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Mount Clemens Farmers Market

Join MSU Master Gardeners for a Fall Garden Walk and Plant Exchange at the Mount Clemens Farmers Market today from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM.  Be sure to bring along your own flowers and plants to exchange with growers.  It's now full season for fruits and vegetables, so this is the perfect time to shop the market and stock up.  Also in season now are:  pumpkins, gourds and squash.

Today through September 19 - The Box Theatre

Downtown's The Box Theatre is kicking off its second season with a hilarious comedy, The Underpants.  A German couples lives are completely turned upside down due to her knickers publicly falling down.  With the show full of double entendres and the wit of Steve Martin, attendees will be careful not to soil their own undergarments during fits of laughter.  Steve Martin's The Underpants follows an incredibly successful inaugural season for The Box Theatre.  This new company has produced a variety of shows from musicals to comedies in its first season, performing mostly to sold-out audiences.

The Underpants starts a three week run on September 10.  The show runs September 10-11, 16-18, 24-25 at 8:00 PM, and September 12 ad 18 at 2:00 PM.  Tickets for The Underpants are $16 and $14 for seniors and students.  Special discounted dinner packages are available at participating Downtown Mount Clemens restaurants, call the box office for more details.  The Box Theatre is located at 70 Macomb Place in Downtown Mount Clemens.

10:00 AM - Crocker Street Bridge, Downtown Mount Clemens

The 18th Annual Mount Clemens Grand Prix speeds into town on the Crocker Street bridge at 10:00 AM.  This annual event is great fun for racers and spectators alike, and serves as a community fundraiser for numerous local charitable groups.  Time Trials run from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.  Grand Prix Races run from 12:00 PM until 4:30 PM, with Closing Ceremonies following from 4:30 PM until 6:00 PM.

Childrens Show at 11:00 AM.  Children's Show will last approximately 30 minutes. 

Carnival games begin at 10:00 AM at participating businesses.  Listing of businesses will activities will be available at Fountain Stage (on Macomb Place 1/2 way between Walnut and Pine Streets).  Small prizes will be awarded to winning children at each participating business (ages two to ten years old).

Come out to the Mount Clemens Farmers Market for the Tater & Pig Roast.  The event runs from 10:00 AM until sold out.  Fruits and vegetables are now in full season, so be sure to take also advantage of the fresh produce at the market.  You will also find plenty of fall staples including:  pumpkins, gourds, and squash.
