Visit the Farmers at their location on North River Road between I-94 and Northbound Gratiot!

The Mount Clemens Farmers Market offers a fine, fresh array of locally grown fruits and vegetables as well as bedding plants, perennials, shrubs and herbs.  Visit the Market every Friday and Saturday to find nutritious in season produce along with fresh baked goods, honey, eggs, mushrooms, New York Style Hog Dogs and other fun specialty items.

MAY

FLOWER & BEDDING PLANT MONTH

MAY 4 - MARKET OPENS FOR THE SEASON - 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

MAY 4 - JUNE 1 - FLOWER DAZE

Shop the Farmers Market for your flowers and bedding plants.  You can also visit the market for rhubarb and maple syrup.

JUNE

STRAWBERRY MONTH!

JUNE 22 - STRAWBERRY SOCIAL - 8:00 am until Sold Out Freshly made Strawberry Shortcake.

Also now in season, asparagus and cabbage. 

JULY

SWEET CORN IS HERE!

JULY 20 - FARMERS MARKET FAMILY DAY - 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Market is in full season now!  You'll find apricots, cherries, plums, raspberries, beans, carrots, cucumbers, peppers, potatoes and summer squash.on to the fresh fruits and vegetables found in July, visitors will now find pears, peaches, cauliflower, onions and tomatoes.

AUGUST

MELONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE! 

AUGUST 10 - BATTLE OF THE CHEFS

AUGUST 24 - PIG & CORN ROAST & CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY - 10:00 am until Sold Out

In addition to the fresh fruits and vegetables found in July, visitors will now find pears, peaches, cauliflower, onions and tomatoes.

SEPTEMBER

FRUITS & VEGETABLES ARE IN FULL SEASON NOW!

SEPTEMBER 6 - MSU GARDEN WALK & FALL PLANT EXCHANGE - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

SEPTEMBER 14 - TATER & PORK ROAST - 10:00 am until Sold Out  

SEPTEMBER 28  - APPLE FESTIVAL 10:00 am until sold out.  Free cider and  donuts while supplies last.  Contests and Prizes. 

You will also find pumpkins, gourds and squash.

OCTOBER

OCTOBER 20 - SOUP DAY

OCTOBER 26 - PUMPKIN PARTY  & PIG ROAST 10:00 am until sold out
Free pumpkins while supplies last.  Pig Roast until sold out.  Contests and Prizes.

Let the MSU Extension teach you the proper way to plant and preserve your fruit, flowers and vegetables. Plan to attend the market Demonstrations held monthly. Call the MSU Extension at 586-469-5180. MSU Master Gardeners provide an information booth every Friday and Saturday to answer your gardening questions.

Chef in the Market 

Every Friday and Saturday at 8:30 am and 10:00 am, the Market's Chef (Mark Miller of Culinary Expression Catering) will serve up cooking demonstrations and recipes based on the Market's fresh products.  Each hour-long demonstration will offer cooking techniques, recipes and free samples of the chef's cuisine.  Recipes will be available in the Market for customers to utilize as a shopping list and try at home.
